Funky’s Wine Dinners Flourishing in COVID times

Take a trip to the vineyards of Italy or California Wine Country all while staying  in Cincinnati. A few sips of wine along with a delectable meal and you’ll be transported thanks to Funky’s Catering Wine Dinners.

These one-night-only dinners have been growing in popularity since they restarted following the pandemic related shut downs. Once a month, the Cincinnati-based catering company hosts 60 guests for a unique experience at one of its  three venues.

The Funky’s Catering team puts on a great evening  showcasing a selection of wines from an area around the world. Previous dinners have highlighted Italy, South Africa, France, Pacific Northwest and California Wine Country. Then, the team of Funky’s chefs pairs each wine with a five-course meal and hors d’oeuvres.

Health  precautions are taken at each event from taking temperatures to distancing tables , but the experience isn’t lost. The chef makes it a point to visit with each guest and answer any questions.
