Better Together

Though he is a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, Luke Combs garnered even wider attention with his poignant duet of “Fast Car” with Tracy Chapman at this year’s GRAMMY Awards in February.

He brings that same authenticity to Paycor Stadium on Aug. 2 and 3, for his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” Tour. The string of North American tour dates includes 25 shows across 13 U.S. cities, as well as one date in Canada.

The GRAMMY performance capped a massive year for “Fast Car,” as Combs’ version of the song won Single of the Year at the 2024 ACM Awards and 2023 CMA Awards (with Chapman winning Song of the Year). It also spent five-consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and reached #1 on the Hot AC chart, the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both. Last weekend, he dropped his new single “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” which is featured on the soundtrack for the movie “Twisters.”

On tour, Combs is joined by a handful of special guests each night. On Fridays, Cody Jinks, The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters and The Wilder Blue will play, and on Saturday he will be joined by Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker and Colby Acuff.

Before the shows, don’t miss the Luke Combs Pre-Show Block Party at The Banks. The two-block street party is happening both nights, from 2-8 p.m. There will be food and beer trucks plus custom T-shirts available for purchase. Grab a cowboy hat before the show and enjoy the fun. The official Luke Combs merchandise truck will be set up on the corner of Freedom and Race streets.

The tailgate also includes the Luke-Alike Competition, with the chance to win a $100 Holy Grail gift card and the Red Solo Kick-the-Cup Competition for the chance to win one of two custom Luke Combs photo backdrops!.

In June, Combs’ released his latest full-length album, “Fathers & Sons.” The first album of its kind, “Fathers & Sons” features Combs’ most personal songwriting to date, as he reflects on his own experiences being a dad to his two sons and the unique bond between parents and their children.

A Grand Ole Opry-member and 11x CMA, 4x ACM, 6x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs also recently released his new radio single, “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” which will be featured on the soundtrack for the new Twisters movie (out July 19), is the subject of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opening July 11 and is in the midst of his record-breaking “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” stadium tour. Upcoming stops include sold-out, back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium, Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium and Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium among others.

Tickets to the show, plus a V.I.B meet and greet are available at www.bengals.com/stadium/luke-combs.
